We are proud to announce the MATRIX TRIDENT (PSI), the first TRIPLE NAND solution available for Xbox360.

The TRIDENT will transform your Xbox360 16 MB NAND in 3 independent 16 MB banks that can be read and write with any available SPI reader/writer solution using software tools like Nandpro 2.0 and Nandpro 3.0.

The trident can work together with any Glitcher solution present in the market.

A flat cable is supplied to directly connect it to the Matrix GLitcher II, for enhanced performances.

It features a quick solder board solution for the Trinity slim and an external switch with led indicators to quickly choose which one of the THREE banks of NAND to use.

With the Matrix Trident you can assign one bank to the Original NAND, the second bank to boot a modified dashboard and the third NAND bank to boot Xell or a second dashboard.

Whether you use it for fun or for hacking purposes, the Trident is going to be the tool of choice to add extra NAND capacity to your Xbox360.

Twitter has finally bedded down secure browsing on its site for all users after previously offering HTTPS as an optional feature.

In March last year it debuted the opt-in setting that enabled Secure Sockets Layer encryption, but explained at the time that the option would not be switched on by default.

The secure-browsing option also failed to be extended to users accessing Twitter via their mobile phones. A temporary work around was offered by the company, which involved users having to tap in the address https://mobile.twitter.com.

It’s fair to surmise from all that fiddling that only canny or overly cautious types probably actually switched SSL on for Twitter, or were wise enough to use the site via the HTTPS address provided for mobile phones.

Others might wonder what took the company so long.

Twitter posted a brief statement on its blog explaining the switcheroo.

Last year, we added the option to always use HTTPS when accessing Twitter.com on the web. This setting makes your Twitter experience more secure by protecting your information, and it’s especially helpful if you use Twitter over an unsecured Internet connection like a public WiFi network.

Now, HTTPS will be on by default for all users, whenever you sign in to Twitter.com. If you prefer not use it, you can turn it off on your Account Settings page. HTTPS is one of the best ways to keep your account safe and it will only get better as we continue to improve HTTPS support on our web and mobile clients.

Just a quick heads-up to let everyone know that MS has begun rolling out a SystemUpdate that brings the dash/kernel to version 2.0.14717.0. It appears that it’s being deployed in the usual staggered fashion over different regions as some have gotten it and some have not yet been prompted. No official word yet from Microsoft as to what the update is for. As always, c4eva and the team advise you to be cautious and hold off on updating until they’ve had a chance to analyze it.

UPDATE: As you know the CB on Phat and Slim were updated with the recent 14717 update, disabling the RGH Glitch mod. While the Phat solution is a much more in-depth problem (work on CB_B has been ongoing for several weeks in anticipation of this so we are well placed to have news very soon), we have already been able to patch the Slim RGH to be fully functional again. Didn’t take long thanks to Old Skool

The fix has been confirmed by a number of team members and we are waiting for feedback from some European testers too and will get the files packed up for release asap.

Microsoft India’s online store was forced to close after an apparent hacking attack from a group calling itself Evil Shadow Team.

For a while after the attack, reports said screen shots of customers’ details were posted on the site before it was taken offline by the company.

Microsoft said it was “investigating a limited compromise”.

Customer data was found unencrypted on the site, the purported hacker told Reuters news agency.

Microsoft would not confirm that data was not encrypted and in a statement said: “We are diligently working to remedy the issue and keep our customers protected.”

A message on the site apologised to customers for the shutdown.

“The Microsoft Store India is currently unavailable. Microsoft is working to restore access as quickly as possible,” the message said.

WPSauce first reported the breach according to a Times of India report.

When the online store was hacked, the site had the picture of the Guy Fawkes mask, an image usually associated with the hacker group Anonymous, reports say.

High profile victims of Anonymous have included websites associated with the CIA as well as UN websites.

First off you need to start by downloading and opening MCSE
FS - http://www.fileserve.com/file/AekCY4…eSpeedEdit.zip

Once open you need to load the Burner Max firmware for your drive

Once you firmware has loaded you will see all the speeds/media types supported by your burner
You need to double click the name of the media you would like to change (your disks)

Then you will be asked to select a media type to replace
Choose 1 with a 2.4x speed and click ok (NOTE: The Media you take the speeds from will no longer be supported on your burner)

You will then be presented with this: Click yes

Your selected media now has 2.4x

Being a leap year this year, it seems that Microsoft have decided to set the launch of the upcoming ‘Microsoft Flight’ simulator to the 29th of February. Whilst this game is free in essence to download, it will require digital purchases to expand what will probably be a limited flight simulator in it’s natural state. However the game will be a full PC game with 1000 gamer score of achievements to be earned, though how many achievements can be earned without purchasing anything is yet unknown. Here is a video of the game:

This is only for Android 4.0 and above as of now…

Google just unveiled the Android-ready version of its Chrome web browser and made this a huge day for the Chrome users, who have a smartphone of the droid variety. The app is still in beta, but it already looks like one of the best browsers on the platform (and as you know there’s no shortage of quality web browsers on Android).

With great performance and simplified user interface, the Chrome browser for Android still has plenty of eye-candy to offer. It lets you sync just about anything between your desktop browser and your smartphone/tablet – from bookmarks to current browsing session, so you can continue on your smart device exactly where you left off on your computer.

Incognito mode is also present here, along with tab browsing, which works in a really impressive manner. HTML5 support is, naturally, quite extensive as the dev team has tried making Chrome for Android a solid platform for developing web content.

The availability is quite limited at this point, but those of you who have an ICS device at hand should certainly give this one a try. You can download it right from your smartphone’s Android market, or through the app repository’s website.

Comments on how you find it will be welcome in the comments section below.

”Overwatch drops you into a construction site atop a New York City skyscraper. The battle takes place along two levels in a near symmetrical layout, with the central bridge and side routes open to attack from multiple angles,” says IW.
